Sample Stats
If you want to take a look at the stats you will have for your site you can
look at the Counted! stats.
Icons
You can choose which icon or icons to display on your webpage via the Account Admin.
Here are all the icons you can currently select. If we ever replace any of those icons with a different one we will say so in the
newsletter.
A few Tips
Before you create a Counted! Account, you should read these Tips about how to best use our service.
- Most if not all visitors to your site will come via one of your entry pages. Therefor putting the Counted! Code
on these pages will give you statistics about all your visitors and a counter on other pages will no longer be
needed.
- Counted! is not a normal counter, it is a lot more. It is designed as a portal for WebSurfers and as a statistical
service for WebMasters. Since your site will be in our Site List, you will also receive more traffic back.
The WebSurfers that come to your website will be able to Vote for it by clicking on the Counted! icon.
Good votes will move you higher up in the Site List, so it makes sense to have the icon in a visible
spot on the
page.
- If you think your Site belongs in a category we do not have yet, please
suggest it. You can then later move to that category via the
Account Admin.
Explanations
Site Section
One Site Section is a part of your site which is devoted to one particular topic.
Rules
- Counted! can not be used for sites with adult or illegal content.
- The Counted! Icon must be visible on the pages that are tracked.
- You may only create one Counted! Account per Site Section.
- We reserve the right to edit the following Account Settings as we see fit:
- Site Name (eg: Typos)
- Site Description (eg: Typos, insufficient information)
- Site URL (eg: wrong URLs)
- Site Category (eg: for better fitting categories)
- The HTML Code can not be altered in any way without prior consent from Counted!
- Counted! retains the right to refuse applications without being required to give its reasons.
- Hit-Cheating is not permitted, and if found will lead to deletion of account.
- Non compliance to these rules will result in deletion of your counter. We can do so at any time, without giving you a prior
notice.
