14th November 1998  New CD suggestions We have some CD suggestions for you today from CDnow. Those mostly reflect the tastes of Counted! employees as we do not want to suggest anything to you we do not know anything about. We will try to give you new suggestions now and then so check back often to see what we have new for you. Currently we are amazed by the Pre-Order feature of CDnow that will let you order CDs that are not even out yet. But first off all there is the new Alanis Morissette Album that should be mentioned which is currently at the number 1 of the CDnow Pop/Rock charts and we listen to it a lot over here. [ Buy it ... ]. Another Album we heard about is the BTK debut CD "Birth Through Knowledge". It has been called "an eclectic mix of the Beastie Boys and Sublime" by critics and embraced by bands including the Beastie Boys, Kid Rock and Korn who have either toured with or paid respect to BTK's unique new sound. Find it Buy it ... ]. Then there are a few pre releases we found which might be of interest for some of you. The new Jewel album "Spirit", which will be out on November 17th. [ Buy it ... ] For an album by an amzing women with a very nice voice try Barbra Streisand - Just For The Record which will be out December 08th. She has been at a TV show here recently which was very nice. [ Buy it ... ] Of course Queen is an all favourite and we look forward to see what they have for us. The album will be called "Crown Jewels" and should be out November 24th [ Buy it ... ] The Orb is a really good Techno/Trance band so the new Album "U.F. Off-Best Of Orb" out November 17th is really something to look out for. [ Buy it ... ] If you are in an easy listening mood John Lee Hooker and his new album "Black Man Blues" should be something to look at. Of course we have not listened to it yet, as it will only be out November 24th but normally John Lee Hooker is the incarnation of coooooool musik. [ Buy it ... ] For those of you who like Faith No More, who seem to have split some time ago, "Who Cares A Lot-Greatest Hits" coming December 08th will be a must.
